29th August – Queen’s Park Tour

On 29th August, GAS members are invited to Queen’s Park for a tour of the excavations etc targeted on the Camphill Enclosure within Queen’s Park, Glasgow. This project will involve students, volunteers and the local community. Dr Eddie Stewart will be our guide.  Please note the date change. We’ll meet Eddie at the flagpole in Queen’s Park at 2:00.

For those travelling by public transport, Cathcart Circle trains from Glasgow Central stopping at Queen’s Park Station are convenient. As are any buses via Shawlands which pass Queen’s Park.
